The hard way

Three of the hardest sons of bitches ever to throw a leg over a bike in Southwest Missouri met up at Sac today for a couple hours in the snow and mud.

And then we went and had fancy coffee.

Hey Lance

"That guy with the camera looks like he can throw some huge watts"

"Huge, Chris.  Huge."

Frank the Tank

This cat is thin.

Beer review:

Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA.  We may have a new go to brew at the Casa de K.  Nice and hoppy.

More Cali

Random thoughts from traveling:

After being force fed his show at the airport, Fox's Glen Beck seems like the kind of neighbor I would drive around the block to avoid talking to.  What an asshole.

I know the era of high style during air travel is long over, but some people really need to look in a mirror before heading to the airport.  (I once flew to London with a guy who wore a sweater vest and no shirt.  Although it was hard to tell it was just a vest)

Danish pancakes.  Excellent.

Pound for pound the K Lady may be the Kobiashi of stone crabs.  Impressive.

Chicks dig Tom Boonen.

SoCal Traffic.  At least Californians  use their turn signals which is oddly strange.

Jens Voigt is exactly like he is in the movie "Overcoming".  He seems like he would be a great guy to drink beer with.  He should host the Price is Right.

Huff knows everybody in cycling and they love him.

We're back

Solvang may have an advantage on Branson for a time trial venue.
Pretty nifty little town.  All the big names were there

                                  Jens
                                   Boonen
                                   Huff
                                   Sastre

And most notably 7 time Tour de  France champion Lance Armstrong (with Byron's arm)

Now that's tight

The Langster got a little upgrade today.  I got tired of loose chain comments.
I predict a 8-13 watt increase.  Minimum.

I had an idea this week.  I currently have 6 bikes.  If I went and bought 8 today would somebody give me a reality show?  How about free tubes and chains for life?
