Actually there was a tiny rock that had wedged in and made a hole where it snapped. Guess I am not playing hooky and riding tomorrow. Glad I was testing the new tire in the neighborhood before I drove north to ride.
Two pretty good brews. Not a fan of wheat beer, but I bought the Anchor Steam without looking too close. Excellent, not really a wheat beer taste at all. Sierra Nevada Lager was fantastic.

God Damn Gates belts is all I have to say. Should have bought local. Take the Belt over to Carlisle(Dayco) & see if the Tech center will cross you a Dayco belt. Buy local I say. If they won't or can't help you go to Missouri Power Transmission & they will get you a Dayco belt.
I may try that. The gates belt has some carbon fiber threads that the rock, actually a piece of quartz worked into. It was pretty much embedded flush with the belt. I guess the carbon is for life and to prevent stretch. I can attest that the belt never stretched and was solid when riding. No give on the belt, like the chain SS road bike has just a hint.
